The year round finance department at Buzz's Marine has access to multiple finance sources, extended warranty programs, as well as manufacturer incentive programs. Following are some frequently asked questions to obtaining financing.
1. Why should I finance my boat with Buzz's Marine? We have financial specialists on staff to ensure that our customers are getting the best rates possible. We have access to several financial institutions that will ensure you get the best rate possible.
2. What are the current rates? Several factors come into play when determining finance rates. The current state of the market will have a large impact on final rates. Individual credit scores also come into account. The higher the score, the better the rate.
3. How long of a purchase term will I be offered? The purchase term offered by our financial institutions depends on several factors. The age and hours on the boat could affect the length of the contract term. The amount financed also plays into the duration as well as credit history.
4. Will I be required to have a down payment? This will depend on the financial institution. Credit history and the amount financed can impact your down payment as well.
5. What is the process to obtain financing? The first step to obtaining financing is to fill out a credit application. Our specialists will collect the necessary information to submit the completed credit application to our many financial avenues. This process takes approximately 10 minutes. Information shared with Buzz's Marine will not be shared with anyone outside of our company. Once the credit application has been accepted by the financial institution, the customer has 60 days to sign the security agreement. While the approval is valid for 60 days, the approval rate is only valid for 30 days.
6. What will the financial specialists do for me? Buzz's Marine financial specialists complete all financial paperwork including sales tax forms and registration forms. We also prepare MSO titles and file appropriate warranty information. New boat owners must go to the courthouse within 30 days of the purchase date to pay taxes and register the boat.
7. Will the application information I provide be secure and private? Yes. Buzz's Marine does not share customer information with anyone outside of the company. Everything submitted is safe and secure.
